Hip Hop Pop was established in 2002 by Producer and Choreographer Jenny Bater. HHP has grown enormously and has trained hundreds of children and young adults in Hip Hop and Street Dance. HHP is Harlow's trendyest education platform and offers it's students the chance to perform and train to a professional standard.
Hip Hop Pop has produced 4 successful community productions since 2003, involving over 200 talent local dancers between the ages of 8 and 30. Their most recent being the sell-out success this April with ‘2020’. Hip Hop Pop community productions bring all elements of the performing arts together lead by their speciality (Hip Hop) to create pieces of entertainment that is thoughrally enjoyed by all. The Hip Hop pop crew went on a UK Theatre Tour from February 07 to February 08 with their Street Dance and Hip Hop Sensation ‘The Battle’ The show was geared towards a teenage/family audience showing youngsters all over the UK how fun Hip Hop can be and giving them a crash corse in the world of Hip Hop music....
Hip Hop Pop have also performed at countless events. Credits include, Harlow Town Park Show, Harlow Christmas lights switch on, Enfield breast cancer concert, Paper nightclub (London), Playhouse Wrestlefests, Big Biker Bulldog Festival, Bishops Stortford Town Centre, Maidstone Arts Festival to name but a few.
